Mat has been a music and production enthusiast since his early childhood. His interest in entertainment and early training in stagecraft, audio, and lighting spurred his desire to D.J. His career began at the age of 17 from small beginnings but with a great future. He spent his evenings playing for close friends, and soon enough, friends of friends. Within a year he became a well known local personality in Ventura County and launched Loud DJs in 2005 with back-to-back bookings— bringing the party to the people. In the same year he was picked up by S.D. Productions in Malibu and began playing at their sponsored clubs and venues under the name DJ Lucid. In the years since he has performed for many thousands at venues throughout Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles counties in their top venues. He has worked with live acts such as Sum 41, Goldfish, Rey Fresco, Electric Valentine, Ambrose, Sam Marquart, K.O., Bone Thugs N’ Harmony, and many others. He has also been featured in Proposal Magazine for February 2010 and the VC Reporter.
Mat believes that part of what has contributed to his success thus far has been his consideration of everything happening at, and prior to, an event. If he can add even a little something to make the night that much more perfect, or make your evening go that much more smoothly, he will go out of his way to do so. His continuing experience gained from hundreds events gives benefit to each of his clients. He loves his work and brings his enthusiasm with him with a constant desire to push the envelope with the latest mixing techniques and gear.
Blending already existing musical compositions together to form new sounds requires skill and creativity, two things Hornbeek possesses in spades.

Throughout both High School and University, Luke has been well known for his broad and enthusiastic involvement in almost everything from event planning, music production, riotous live performances and eloquent speeches. Under the name of Dj h4ckrabbit, Luke has brought the spark to Santa Barbara’s block parties, to Main Street Ventura’s bar/clubs as well as Ventura County’s finest underground hits. This artistic professional can keep the smiles and good times going at your birthday party, sweet sixteen, professional event or even your legendary rager. Eric Parsons

Eric should have seen it all coming. The son of professional musicians, Eric was born and raised in the cultural melting pot of South Louisiana, a place where the music is as mixed up and spicy as the food. His mother a church organist and his father a drummer, Eric spent his childhood constantly immersed in classical compositions as well as classic 70s rock and funk.
As a student at an inner city high school in the 1980s he was heavily influenced by original rap music artists, but the presence of an “alternative” college radio station in his home town proved just as powerful. The emerging electronic dance music scene lured Eric to nightclubs and later to underground raves where he learned to appreciate the value of a skilled DJ. From then on he was always searching for that blissful state of musical ecstasy that a great DJ creates on the dance floor.
It’s the same pure, blissful feeling that Eric, AKA “DJ Elixir,” strives to create every time he is behind the turntables today. Whether he’s seamlessly blending a set of pulsing world rhythms, disco hits or current dance favorites, DJ Elixir knows how to build the energy on a dance floor and make a crowd lose itself in the music.

Blending his love for old school funk, classic soul, house, hip-hop both old and new, and current dance floor favorites, DJ Seltzy rocks the party right! Jon has been mixing, recording, and playing music for over 20 years. He is a veritable musical encyclopedia and it shows with every mix he lays down. Jon has been a resident DJ at clubs in San Francisco and Los Angeles, and an event DJ at venues all over California for the last 10 years. He loves to perform and create the perfect atmosphere for every kind of event and work with you, the host, to reflect exactly what kind of party experience you’ve always imagined.
